"U.S. Route 99"	This book is written and will go to the publisher in February of 2010. “U.S. Route 99” is a northbound trip from San Luis AZ to Blaine WA (Mexico to Canada) on this historic former U.S. highway. If you’ve heard about the Alaskan Way Viaduct inSeattle, ancient Lake Cahuilla in the Californiadesert, the “Ridge Route” north of L.A. or Oregon’s Siskiyou Trail you’ll want to order this book soon.
“U.S. Route 101”	We’ll drive the beautiful and historic “Pacific Coast Highway” from Olympia WA to downtown Los Angeles CA in this book. Scenery ranges from the Oregon coastline to the California Redwoods to much of the historic “El Camino Real” laid out by Fr. Junipero Serra more than 300 years ago. Look for “U.S. route 101 around the middle of 2010.
“California’sForgotten Highways”	If you like the history of U.S. highways in California, this book will be worth the wait. Each of the decommissioned U.S. highways inCalifornia will have a small Section in the book. You’ll see maps from 1959 and what these highways look like today, including legendary U.S. Route 66, part of which is known as Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles. “…Highways” will be finished and available for purchase in late 2010.
